Day 1: Queen Elizabeth Wildlife Safari
This Uganda safari begins promptly in the morning after breakfast. Drive from Kampala towards the west and have a stop at the Equator for photographs and handcrafts, then proceed with your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park fronted by the magnificent Rwenzori Mountain ranges for much of your adventure. Once in Queen Elizabeth National Park a game drive in the park is greatly rewarding with animals such as; Leopards, the colossal Elephants, Lions, Buffaloes, Duikers, Hyenas, and numerous antelope species.
After lunch, you will have an evening boat cruise on the Kazinga channel into Lake Edward. This cruise rewards you a chance to see at close range the highest concentration of water submerged Hippos, encompassed by over 550 species of migrate and occupant birds in addition to crocodiles drinking and resting at water edges. The boat cruise offers a brilliant stage for photography, bird watching and game viewing. You will then have supper and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge or any possible hotel your decision.
Day 2: Queen Elizabeth National Park to Bwindi Forest.
The day begins with breakfast, then set out on an early morning game drive along Kasenyi track and Queen’s mile in the park. You will see cape Buffaloes, Elephants Topi, Kobs, Warthogs, Waterbucks, Hyena, Leopards, and also lions and lots of Birds. After the game drive, set out on the trip to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park through Maramagambo and Ishasha. Along the road via Ishasha you will have a chance to see tree climbing lions, more antelopes, the waterbucks, Kobs, elephants, and buffaloes. You will arrive and rest at the exquisite Gorilla forest Camp where you will have dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Bwindi Gorilla Trekking
After an early morning breakfast you will be informed by your tour guide and after begin your gorilla tracking trip, you will enter into the jungle as it offers an electrifying, heavily forested and thick landscape interacted by plenty of animal trails that furnish access for tourist tracking these occupant animals. Vertebrates here include majorly the endangered mountain gorillas, elephants, buffaloes, giant forest hogs, the rare golden monkey, bushbucks, leopards and more. The charming mountain gorillas form the highlight of the park, the time and terrain/track taken while searching for these delightful primates differs according to their movements. Once tracked, watching, spending time with and photographing these gorillas is a breathtaking, inspiring, moving, and exciting life time memorable adventure that leaves you desiring to have it again but takes one hour. Overnight shall be at Buhoma homestead/Buhoma community Camp (FB) unless you have a personal choice.
Day 4: Depart to Kampala
After your breakfast transfer to Kampala through Mbarara and lunch can be arranged for you here. Arriving Kampala by 5.00pm local time you immediately go for Kampala city tour which makes the close of this Uganda safari. You will use your overnight at The Lodge-Lweza for straightforward exchange to the Air Port.
