Day 1: Depart for Nyungwe Forest (home of many primates)
Early in the morning enjoy your breakfast at the lodge, drive to Nyungwe Forest National. On the way stopovers to visit the Rwanda National Museum in Butare, Murambi genocide site, lunch in Butare, dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Chimp Tracking and Canopy walk
After breakfast, enter Nyungwe Forest for chimpanzee and other primates trekking, the forest has got over 13 primate species and over 300 bird species making it a perfect destination for bird watchers and primatologists. Return to your hotel for lunch.
After evening embark on canopy walk or cultural walk around the nearby communities to be entertained with local dancer and drummer, learn more about the culture and way of living of the local communities. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Have early morning breakfast and transfer to Volcanoes National Park arriving there for lunch, relax and wait for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Gorilla Tracking in Parc National des Volcans
After breakfast, go to Volcanoes National Park Headquarters for 30 minutes instructions about the rules and regulations while with gorillas in the forest. Gorilla tracking is extremely strenuous and tiresome yet finding and staying with these gentle gaits is worth the effort. You will be permitted to stay with gorillas for 1 hour for observation, photographing and video shooting.
Relax at the hotel then in the afternoon have a walk to Ruhengeri Market to purchase local Rwandan fabrics, arts and handcrafts. Return to your hotel for diner and overnight as on day three.
Day 5: Hike to Diane Fossey Tombs OR Golden Monkey Tracking
After breakfast, enjoy another adventurous hike to Dian fossey grave yard / tombs OR go for golden monkey tracking in Volcanoes National Park. Relax at your lodge in the evening, dinner and overnight as previously.
Day 6: Depart for Bwindi National Park
After breakfast, hit the road and cross the border to Southern Bwindi National Park, another home to mountain gorillas in Uganda. Check in your Lodge have lunch and visit the snake caves, Lake Mutanda and pygmies community (Batwa people). Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Second Gorilla trekking Adventure Uganda
After breakfast, we shall travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park headquarters with packed lunch, mineral water, tracking equipments. Be instructed about the rules and regulations while with gorillas in the forest. Tracking can take 2-8 hours depending on the movement of the gorilla families. Stay with these Giant apes for 1 hour for observation and photographing. Relax in the evening as we wait for dinner and overnight at your Lodge.
Day 8: Kigali city tour, departure
Have breakfast at the hotel and drive to Kigali (3hrs). Take a city tour to Gisozi genocide memorial site, local art and craft shops, local markets and do last minute shopping. Drive to the Airport for your flight back home.
