1. When is the best time to climb Kilimanjaro?:
Even though can climb through the year, January, February and September are the best month with June July and August
October and December also being good. |

| 2. Does climbing the Kilimanjaro involve difficulties or technical climbing experience?
Not at all. Any person in good physical condition can climb and reach the summit. You should be able to run for half an hour or more without feeling short of breath. NO one with a sore throat, cold or breath problems should go above 3000meters. People with a lung or should not attempt the mountain at all without consulting their doctors. Being in a right metals state is important. Do not push yourself to go if your body is exhausted or if you have extreme mountain sickness or more serious symptoms. Your right preparation is very enough to conquer the summit without needing the technical gears and knowledge

Yes, both our safaris and Kilimanjaro prices includes park fees and all other applicants' fees and taxes.

| 4. Can children climb Kilimanjaro?
The minimum age limit set by the National park Authorities for trekking to Uhuru is 12 years old.

| 5. What is the weather like in the Kilimanjaro?
Equatorial to arctic conditions are present on the Kilimanjaro. The range begins with the warm, dry plains with the average temperature of 30 c ascend through a wide belt of wet tropical forest through zones with generally decreasing temperature and rainfall to the summit where there permanent ice and below freezing temperature .The temperature at the top of the mountain gets as low as minus 25 Celsius.

| 6. How long does it take to reach the summit?
Climbing through the Marangu route. One can reach the summit in 5-6 days, including a day and half of descending. On the Machame, Lemosho, and other routes it is normal for one to reach the summit in 6-7 days including a day and half of descending. |

| 7. What kind of gears do I need?
You need to have the following gears for your climbing:
Boots, Thermal (Under wear, Warm clothes –top and pants, water / wind proof Pants and shell socks, winter hut. Balaclava (cover head and ears) water bottles, gators (for wind and mud) gloves (water / wind proofs) neck warmer OR scarf, Sunglasses n Flash light and batteries, Walking sticks, sleeping Tent (Out of Marangu Route) sleeping bag and rain wear.

| 8. Can I leave my excess luggage whilst on trekking?
Yes, you can leave the stuff which you do not need to carry up with you on the mountain at the hotel or in our office .Valuable items including cash should be specified.

| 9. How do I cope with the changing of altitude? As ascend the oxygen in the air decreased?
Low oxygen in the blood causes shortness of breath during exertion increased ventilation and heart beats. You can acclimatize/ adapt to the altitude ascending slowly and pacing yourself avoiding exertion and breathing regular and deep. |

| 10. Are rescue facilities available?
Yes, only Marangu route has reliable rescues equipped team. Rescue team on the other routes is done by contacting the Park headquarters who will then quickly send the rescue team. The mountain rescue fees covers the rescue service from the top to the base of the mountain. We recommend flying doctors services membership (a 50 value) to cover from the base from the mountain to the hospital. |

| 11. What kind of accommodation is provided for the 2 bights before and after climb that are included in your climbing price?
The accommodation is at a mid class hotel that has rooms with en-suit bathrooms mosquito nets, a bar and restaurant It is located in quiet at neighbor hood. For those prefer something fancier, we upgrade to a five star hotel with an extra few dollars. |

| 12. What kind of accommodation during the climbing?
Only marangu route offer accommodations in a dormitory style huts, having beds and mattresses all other routes offers accommodation in tents. There is very limited number of climber on Marangu route allowed, making a necessity for a well in advance booking.

| 13. What the foods like during the climb?
Our typical food on the mountain includes; Breakfast coffee, Tea, porridge, fruits, fruit juice scrambled eggs /omelet sausage, toast, margarine, honey and jam. Lunch, hot tea, coffee, chips, sandwiches, biscuits, pancakes with honey of jam and fruits.
Dinner, Soup, Cooked meat or vegetarian meal (these includes chicken/ beef with rice) sliced fresh carrots and green beans, mashed potatoes and salad) fruit and fruit juice and variety of hot drinks.

| 14. Do you accommodate people with dietary restrictions?
Absolutely, our skilled cook is happy to accommodate your dietary restriction and/ or allergies.

| 15. Who prepare the food on the mountain?
Skilled cook serving as porters will prepare food for you. Also they will boil water and filter and refill your empty bottles for you. |

| 16. How is cooking done on the mountain?
All our meals are prepared on portable gas stoves with our skilled cook. Our low impact policy prohibits us to use fire woods on the mountain. |

| 17. What about the drinking water?
We recommend you to drink 4-5 litters of fluids each day. Water is the best, but fruit juices are best supplements. Carry you own water bottle all the time as a dehydration is a real problems in the mountain. The air is very dry above 4000 meters so avoid panting and dry to breath through your nose. Control sweating by wearing the removable clothing and pacing yourself. Sip fluid frequently. Monitor, your urine out put should be a list 1.5 liter per day and urine should be clear. |

| 18. Is water clean and safe to drink?
Clean drinking water is critical to your health on the climb. We supply high volume commercial Katadyn water filters which can produce the vast quantities of clean drinking water your body requires for hard work at high altitudes. Katadyn is the only water filter endorsed by the World Health Organization to guarantee pure water. |

| 19. What is the number of climbers?
Our climb have minimum and maximum number of 1 and 15 climbers respectively. In most cases we have a maximum number of 10 climbers, and average of 4climbers. |

| 20. How many guides and porters cook do we get?
All depends on the number of people in your group. You will have one leading guide with assistant guide serving as porter and porters (including skilled cook) We guarantee enough of numbers of porters for your luggage, foods and water. |

| 21. Do you have luggage weight /size / number limitation on your climbs?
Unlike most other companies, we do not have luggage limitation on our climbs. We also provide free storage for stuffs which you do not want to bring up on the mountain.

| 22. What if one of get sick and has to return?
In case one get sick, and has stay behind or even return he or she will accompanied by one of the assistant guide while other climbers goes on with the leading with the guide and other assistant guides. |

Unlike other most companies who charge about 100 USD we provide a free transfer from the mountain to the hotel should a climber return earlier than planned.

| 24. What additional cost can I expect when I travel with you?
Our lands cost prices include almost everything the only extra cost will incur are tips, some of the climbing gears, and meals that are not listed in your itinerary.

25. How much is a good tip?
The recommended one per day (from the whole group) is $10, each assistant guide $7 and each porter is $ 4. Off course you can pay more if you're particularly impressed and less if you are not.
